Home Care Instructions
After you’ve had your chiropractic treatment, the doctor will make recommendations for your home care. After all, your care is a partnership between what the doctor will do for you and how you take care of yourself between appointments. Home care recommendations may include icing, alternating moist heat and ice, stretches, exercises, stabilizing techniques, postural changes, taping, bracing, nutritional changes, etc.
Pregnant women experience physical changes in their body over a quick period of time. Chiropractic care can make these fast changes easier for the body to adjust to them. Common complaints during pregnancy include pressure in hips and pelvis, low back pain, mid back pain, sciatica, and discomfort while sleeping, walking, sitting, & more. We have chiropractic tables with adjustable segments to allow more room for the growing belly. We also are certified in the Webster Technique which focuses on the woman’s pelvis and ligaments involved. We also have a massage therapist on site for prenatal massage.
